This week, just pick one. You can go from there.

➕ 11 more quick wins for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok that takes 5-10 min of your time
🔎 One word to check any answer
You ask ChatGPT something and it sounds so sure. But you can't tell if it's a real fact or just a confident guess.
Last week I gave you 7 lines to paste into ChatGPT. Lokesh posted them on Reddit too, and 173k people read it.
One comment really stayed with me. It said cutting the fluff doesn't stop a made-up fact. And AI can make up links too, so a link alone proves nothing.
Honestly, that's fair. So I added one more line. Paste it under the 7 lines:
Honestly, that's fair. So I added one more line. Paste it under the 7 lines:
When I type only "source", check your last answer. Name sources you actually opened and what each one supports. Mark anything you can't check as unverified. Fix any mistakes. Never invent a source. Now, when an answer matters, just type source.
For example, today I asked ChatGPT if I should switch to Claude for writing emails. It said "No" and gave me a neat table. It was very sure.
Then I typed source. It found 3 help pages, one from Anthropic and two from OpenAI. And then it told me its main point was unverified, because no study shows ChatGPT writes better emails.
So basically, it gave me the same advice, just with less confidence. That second answer is the one I trust.
⚠️ Still, open the link. AI can name a real page that doesn't say what it claims. Small mistakes slip through so easily. A website I built for a client had +91 instead of +1 in the phone number, and the client found it before I did. Now I check every time.
Dan: I use beehiiv to send you weekly newsletters.
Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jay Shetty. And You.
Codie Sanchez, Colin & Samir, Joanna Stern, and Oliver Darcy are here too. They all built newsletters (and podcasts and communities and websites) on beehiiv.
Some came with massive followings. Others built theirs along the way. That’s the thing about beehiiv: with so many ways to earn and grow, the platform is ready for whatever you’re building next.
📱 12 five-minute wins, 3 per app
I pay for all 4 apps, so I picked one win in each app for 3 kinds of people: just starting, using it for work, and going further.
Each one is a single prompt or a few taps. Today I checked every feature against the company's own help pages. The steps and copy buttons are all on one page, plus the catch for each one.
ChatGPT
Just starting: Got a bill or letter you don't understand? Take a photo, and ChatGPT tells you in 3 plain lines what it is, what you owe and by when. Get the prompt →
For work: Set it once, and every weekday ChatGPT gives you 3 talking points from your industry, with links. Set it up in 4 steps →
Going further: Turn your notes into a live mini website, all in one chat. And if you built custom GPTs, heads up: they stop on 11 Dec. Build your first page →
Claude
Just starting: Paste your messy notes and Claude gives you a real PDF with a to-do list. Where a date is missing, it writes MISSING. Copy the prompt →
For work: Show Claude 3 emails you liked, just once. After that, every draft sounds like your company. Set up the project →
Going further: A status note that writes itself every Monday, even when your laptop is closed. Schedule it →
Gemini
Just starting: No typing at all. You point your phone camera at something and just talk to it. It's the easiest first step I know. See where the button is →
For work: That long report you keep saving for later? Gemini turns it into a short podcast for your commute. Make your first one →
Going further: Gems start moving to Skills in November. I'd move your best one yourself, so you know it still works. Move it in 4 steps →
Grok
Just starting: Turn a photo of your pet into a cartoon poster. It's a fun first win. Try the prompt →
For work: Grok is the research king right now. Ask it what people on X are saying about your brand this week, and you get 3 themes with real links. Run the search →
Going further: A daily digest on your topic, waiting for you before you wake up. Set the automation →
🧠 ChatGPT and Grok inside Claude (for your next desktop session)
Claude is the brain of my AI, and ChatGPT and Grok are the hands it calls when it needs an outside hand. Grok searches the web and X live for me. ChatGPT makes my images.
For example, I used Grok to research this newsletter. And when you click the button below, you'll see step-by-step images on the next page. ChatGPT made those. I never left Claude Code.
I can't code, so the part I like most is the setup. You paste one plain message, and Claude Code runs the official installers for you. It opens the browser so you can log in, and then it tests both.
After that, you make 2 short skills. Now you just type /grok or /chatgpt whenever you need them.
⚠️ Install only from chatgpt.com/codex and x.ai/cli. A tool called grok-dev uses the same command and isn't from xAI.
Funny thing happened while I was setting this up today. The Codex installer stopped and asked me a question. It had found a second, older copy of Codex on my Mac. So I said yes, delete it. Honestly, it was a no-brainer.
Which of the 12 will you try first? Hit reply and tell me.
